Homemade hot chocolate is a tasty way to treat yourself and warm up on a cold winter day. This recipe is easy to make and so rich and delicious you’ll need a big mug.
Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 cups of premium cocoa
- 1 tablespoon table salt
- whole milk (1 cup per serving)
Directions

Combine sugar, cocoa, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk till well mixed. Keep in an airtight container.

To make one serving heat 1 cup of milk in the microwave or on the stove. Stir in two tablespoons of cocoa mix. For larger amounts use 2 tablespoons of cocoa per 1 cup of milk.
- Top with whipped cream and marshmallows and enjoy!
