Making snow ice cream in the winter is still one of my fondest childhood memories and it’s a great activity for kids. This recipe is so simple, you can make it in minutes and it only requires a few ingredients. Even better you can add in some sprinkles or fruit and mix it up your own way.
Recipe for SNOW ICE CREAM
Makes 4 servings
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 pinch coarse salt
- 8 cups clean snow or shaved ice
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine milk, sugar, vanilla and salt in a large bowl
- Add in fresh snow or shaved ice and whisk to desired consistency
- Serve immediately
Disclosure: Always use clean snow, and eat snow at your own risk.
